Designation:                   LogMeIn is Hiring for Localization Project Manager!!

Job Skills:                      Good communication skills with local language proficiency.

Job Location:                 Bengaluru

  Years of Experience:    7+ years of prior experience in project management out of which at least 5+                                              years

 

Responsibilities include:

· Engage and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, etc.) to ensure that requirements for localizability are implemented and the localization processes are well understood.

· Manage, coordinate, track, and troubleshoot localization projects and tasks for multiple locales/languages in collaboration with our language service providers.

· In an agile development environment, contribute to efficient localization end-to-end processes including translation, localization, and LQA tasks to meet our internal partners’ needs and optimize our way of working and offering.

· Propagate a Global (First) Mindset by evangelizing localization best practices and ensuring both external and internal partners’ compliance with global standards.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in English or translation-related studies. Post-graduation degree is added advantage.

· 7+ years of prior experience in project management out of which at least 5+ years of experience in localization project management

· Excellent command of English. Fluency in additional languages welcome

· Experience with CAT tools and standard project management methodologies/tools as well as translation management systems (e.g. Crowdin, XTM, memoQ, etc.)

· Outstanding organizational skills: the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time interacting with various stakeholders simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail

· Passion for close teamwork and working towards shared goals in a virtual multicultural setting

· Strong customer orientation

· Openness for change in a fast-paced environment

· As stakeholders and partners are located in different time zones, the candidate should be ready to shift working hours on a need basis to accommodate time zone differences.


Advantages/Nice to Have

· Passionate and knowledgeable about globalizing software

· Experience with LQA tools and machine translation post-editing tasks

· Ability to identify requirements and prioritize critical deliverables

· Familiarity with transcreation, translation and localization process and technology

· Excellent intercultural communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

· Good ability for dialog and consultancy
